Zins to die for!
Zichichi has been one of my favorite wineries for a very long time. Located in Dry Creek Valley, Healdsburg California, this winery makes one of the best Zinfandels. The winery has been open for 19+ years. I visited Zichichi for the first time in 2004 during a barrel tasting event for Sonoma and Napa. I instantly fell in love with their Old Vine Zinfandel and bought a case of futures with my friends. And then for multiple years I would go to pick up my futures order and end up placing another futures order for the following year. On our WineMaester Scale, Zichichi scores a 4 star rating!
They have a beautiful wine tasting room with a balcony overlooking their vineyards. The balcony though not very big is the best place to enjoy a bottle of their wines. Please do bring some cheese and other foods to pair with spicy Zins.
